1. Add your domain to your Fabrik site

Important: Link your domain within the Fabrik dashboard first. To do this, log in to Fabrik and go to Settings > Domains and link your domain.

Make sure both the root (non-www) and www versions of your domain are added. This way it doesn't matter which URL someone enters, they'll still end up at your Fabrik site.

2. Choose your primary domain

Every Fabrik website has a primary domain/URL. If someone navigates to a non-primary domain we redirect them to your primary domain. What you choose is up to you - personally we favour the non-www version (e.g. yourdomain.com) because it is shorter and looks nicer in the address bar.

3. Link from Easyspace

Go to the Easyspace website and click the "Control Panel" link at the top of the page. Once logged in, select your domain name from the dropdown and click Go to manage your domain:

On the domain management page, scroll down and expand the DNS Settings Panel, then click "Launch DNS tool":

The pop-up window will display the current DNS records for your domain:

You need to update the following A records:

Host
yourdomain.com
www.yourdomain.com

Change both of these records to point to Fabrik's IP address 52.215.137.200. To do this, click the current IP Address. An inline form will then appear for you to update:

Once done, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the form. You should then have the following records:

The Internet is a big place!

DNS records are replicated all over the internet so any changes you make can often take up to 48 hours to propagate. If after a few hours your domain still goes to the old location, please be patient and wait a bit longer. If you want absolute confirmation that you've set everything up correctly you can use Dig Web Interface.
